Inclusivity
The Singapore Pavilion is committed to inclusivity.
Our pavilion is the combined effort of multiple, diverse groups in Singapore. In collaboration with social agencies, the pavilion integrates the works of persons with disabilities into our immersive experiences such as performances and art installations. Our pavilion is also committed to accessibility by taking careful steps to ensure that the Singapore Pavilion is open and enjoyable for visitors.
Creating An Inclusive Pavilion
To improve the Singapore Pavilion’s website to users, the website has been reviewed by Oobee (formerly known as Purple A11y), an open-sourced automated web accessibility testing tool developed by the Singapore government that helps improve the access of persons with disabilities (PWDs) to digital services.
Oobee is listed in the Digital Public Goods registry by the Digital Public Goods Alliance (DPGA), a multistakeholder initiative supported by the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and UNICEF. The testing tool has also been published as a case study in the Case Study Library of the OECD Observatory of Public Sector Innovation (OPSI).
